It is always cheaper to stop things going wrong than to put them right when they do, so we suggest things you can check each month or season throughout the year.

And if you do notice work that needs doing, we have

  * a list of materials suppliers to source the specialist heritage materials you might need
  * a list of artisans specialising in working on heritage buildings
  * a list of architects and consultants who can help with more major projects
